In Dec 2010, 6 teachers from Tanzania and 3 teachers from Botswana braved the worst of winter weather to visit schools in Bridgend in Wales.
The teachers spent their days meeting teachers and students at Bryntirion, Maes yr Haul and Heronsbridge Schools. They had professional discussions on Performance Management, School Administration, Curriculum issues and Teaching strategies and resources.
Sustainable Development and Food Production was an area of common interest and the group decided upon this as an area for future development of the partnership.
Everyone decided that as we could not change the weather for the week we may as well try to enjoy it so we wrapped up warm and threw ourselves into preparations for a white Christmas!
